East Java Police Raid Surabaya Nightlife Venues, 20 Patrons Test Positive for Drugs #ReserseBekerja

SURABAYA — The Narcotics Investigation Directorate of East Java Regional Police conducted targeted raids across three nightlife venues in Surabaya on Wednesday (21/10/2026) night. Out of 110 individuals subjected to urine testing, officers identified 20 patrons testing positive for illicit substances based on initial field screenings.

The Director of Narcotics Investigation led the operation directly, starting at 23:00 WIB. A total of 100 joint personnel were deployed, comprising members from the Narcotics Directorate, KOSGARTAP, Internal Affairs (Bidpropam), Patrol Unit (Ditsamapta), and Medical Unit (Biddokkes) of East Java Regional Police. The multi-unit involvement ensured the operation proceeded systematically, orderly, and transparently across all locations.

Integrated Inspections Across Three Venues

The joint task force swept three designated venues. The first site was Club Deluxe in Genteng District, where all 14 tested individuals returned negative results. This finding underscores procedural principles of operating strictly on verifiable medical evidence.

Officers then proceeded to the second location, Club Station in the Kedungdoro area, Tegalsari District. Out of 75 individuals examined, 17 tested positive with indications of amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, and TCA use. At the third venue, Kantor Club in Pabean Cantian, 21 individuals underwent testing, resulting in three positive screenings and 18 negative findings.

Field Data Mapping and Targeted Enforcement

Overall, positive test findings were concentrated primarily in one venue, with 17 individuals identified at Club Station and three at Pabean Cantian. Location-specific data provides critical insights for investigators to map high-risk areas and formulate targeted prevention strategies.

Executing raids during peak operating hours sends a clear signal to nightlife venue managers that commercial spaces must not become loopholes for illicit drug distribution. The operation demonstrates structured investigative discipline: identifying targets, deploying joint teams, validating evidence through medical testing, and acting on field data to safeguard the public from narcotics hazards. The principle of #ReserseBekerja guides every action: answering with facts, protecting the process.
