Interpol has issued a Yellow Notice on behalf of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz, the eldest son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. Previously, the National Police sent a request to Interpol to issue a Yellow Notice.
“From the start, the Police heard the news that Mr. Ridwan Kamil’s son had disappeared in a river, in Switzerland, the Police immediately coordinated with the Swiss Police, Interpol, the Indonesian Embassy. And we asked Interpol to issue a Yellow Notice. Yesterday it was published,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to journalists, on Tuesday (2 June 2022).

This Yellow Notice is published Wednesday (1 June 2022). The Yellow Notice document also contains Eril’s full identity.
Dedi said the Yellow Notice had been addressed to all members of Interpol in the world.
“From the central Interpol addressed to Interpol all members of Interpol in the world,” said Dedi.
The yellow notice explained that Interpol had received information regarding reports of Eril’s loss. Interpol will ask Interpol members of the world to take action in accordance with the national laws of their respective countries if they identify Eril’s location.
For information, Yellow Notices are issued to help find missing people. Usually Yellow Notices are used to locate minors, or to help identify people who cannot identify themselves.
To this day, the whereabouts of Eril who disappeared in the Aare River is unknown. Eril went missing after swimming with her younger sister and partner in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland on May 26, 2022.
Before missing, Eril had shouted for help. But he could not help. Eril is known to have gone to Switzerland with his family to look for an opportunity for a master’s scholarship.
