The Semarang Police is holding a plan for the 2021 Nataru Temple Candle Operation in Semarang Regency.
The 2021 Nataru Temple Candle Operation in Semarang Regency was discussed by the Semarang Police in a Cross-Sectoral Meeting.
The cross-sectoral meeting of the Semarang Police, which was attended by all forkopimda of Semarang Regency, discussed the plan for securing the 2021 Nataru celebration such as vulnerability, potential for conflict, locations prone to crime, prone to disasters, prone to traffic jams, prone to accidents.
“We also discussed the place of worship for the church and the schedule for the mass which is planned to start on December 23-31, 2021,” said Semarang Police Chief Yovan Fatika, Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Yovan said that the personnel involved in the Temple Candle Operation of the Semarang Polres in 2021 consisted of task force personnel, security post personnel, and border post personnel.
Therefore, good cooperation is needed in accordance with their respective tupoksi.
“There needs to be synergy and contributions between agencies for optimal implementation of the 2021 Candi Candle Operation in the context of securing the 2021/2022 Nataru celebration to provide a sense of security and comfort for people celebrating Christmas and New Year,” he explained.
He further revealed that the health protocol (prokes) was one of the focuses of discussion at the meeting.
