Police Gives Ligue 1 Trial Permit with Limited Audience Capacity

 

The National Police stated that they had allowed PT. Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) to conduct tests on the implementation of Liga 1 and 2 in front of a live audience.

Head of Public Relations Inspector General of Police Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, Bpk. Hum., M.Sc., M.M., revealed that the trial was legalized with notes showing that the capacity of the people who were physically present was limited, because the Covid19 pandemic was still ongoing.

“The National Police have completed the trials of La Liga 1 and League 2 with a limited number of spectators,” Dedi told reporters, Jakarta, Wednesday (15/12).

The Head of Public Relations of the National Police explained that granting a limited number of permits must prioritize the discipline of health protocols (prokes) and for that the police will also intervene.

“We see great enthusiasm from the public for the implementation of soccer in the country. However, we always emphasize that the implementation of health protocols must still be carried out strictly,” said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police. In granting this limited trial permit, Dedi stated that he had coordinated and communicated to all related parties. Covid19 control may still be going well.

However, the Head of Public Relations of the National Police underlined that his party would continue to carry out routine evaluations regarding the implementation of limited trials in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
