Jakarta – The National Police will establish check points in the form of service posts and security posts during Christmas and New Year (Nataru) in all regions to monitor the PeduliLindung application in the community.
“There are still (check points), it’s for security. Pam posts (security) and pos yan (services), will later be useful to ensure the PeduliLindung application is running, in the rest area. We will arrange it later,” explained the Assistant Chief of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Imam Sugianto, Wednesday (08/12/2021), as reported by the Official Police News Portal, TribrataNews.
Inspector General of Police Imam Sugianto said that the National Police would also set up vaccination posts in several rest areas on a number of toll roads.
Especially for drivers who have not been vaccinated, they can be vaccinated directly at the service post.
“Obviously, we will also set up vaccination posts in those places. So, those who are caught who have not been vaccinated are immediately advised to be vaccinated there, for example, “explained the two-star general.
Regarding changes to Christmas and New Year’s rules, the police will still discuss with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
However, he emphasized that the National Police would fully support the regulations issued by the government.
“So it will be met with the Minister of Home Affairs, then it seems that from level three it will be replaced by the Nataru regulation. We will guide the Minister of Home Affairs later, we will make an error later, “explained Asops Kapolri.
Previously, it was reported that the government officially canceled the implementation of Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in all regions during the Nataru holiday.
