The Pekalongan City Police Resort and its ranks are currently carrying out the Zebra Candi 2021 operation in their jurisdiction. In this operation, police officers prioritize traffic safety appeals, one of which is by attaching warning stickers.
Operation activities for Zebra Candi 2021 are carried out to support the prevention of Covid-19 transmission and to discipline the public in complying with health protocols. The implementation of this operation will last for 14 days starting from November 15 to November 28, 2021, “said Pekalongan City Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Rohadi S.I.K., through Head of Traffic AKP Tri Handayani SH, Friday (11/19/2021).
The Head of the Traffic Unit said that the Zebra Operation, which was held by his staff, was more focused and concentrated on appeals and education for the prevention of COVID-19 rather than efforts to crack down on traffic violations. The pasting of stickers was held to inspire the hearts of all levels of society to always wear masks when doing activities outside the home in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Operation Zebra Temple 2021: This time is not oriented towards traffic law enforcement/ticketing. The existence of this activity is one of the efforts to build public trust in the police. This operation is carried out by the police simultaneously in Indonesia, “added AKP Tri Handayani.”
