Police dispatch Inafis Team to investigate Pertamina Cilacap tank fire

Jakarta – The Indonesian National Police (Polri) dispatched the “Automatic Finger Print Identification System” or Inafis and Puslabfor Team in conducting an investigation into the fire at the 36 T-102 Pertamina refinery in Cilacap, Central Java.
“The National Police Headquarters dispatches the Inafis Team and the Forensic Laboratory in the field,” said Head of the Public Information Section (Kabagpenum) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Kombes Pol Ahmad Ramadhan when giving a press statement at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java, Sunday.
Ramadhan said that his party was also conducting a clarification examination of five witnesses related to the incident. The five witnesses who were asked for clarification
Ramadhan added that the National Police also carried out internal checks on team four, especially at the 36 T-102 refinery section, collecting CCTV data and other document records. In addition, the Police will also ask for information from experts related to the fire incident.
“We also secure locations with a safe radius for the community and sterilize main routes,” Ramadhan said.
Ramadhan added that the crime scene (TKP) will be carried out if the location of the fire has been declared to be in a safe position.
He said the Police had localized the impact of the fire incident.
Meanwhile, the tank refinery 36 T-102 containing Pertalite components belonging to Pertamina Cilacap, Central Java, caught fire on Saturday (14/11), at 19.10 WIB, during heavy rain accompanied by lightning.
There were no fatalities in this incident.
