Jakarta – In order to anticipate the backflow of tourists after vacationing from the North Thousand Islands region, the North Thousand Islands Police Chief directly leads his personnel to carry out security activities and monitor backflow at the Pier – the departure pier in the North Thousand Islands, Sunday (7/11).
The Head of the North Thousand Islands Police, the Thousand Islands Police, AKP Asep Romli, explained that tourists came on Saturday afternoon and returned on Sunday so that returning tourists to the Departure Piers in the four residential islands need to be protected and supervised by health protocols.
“We place personnel at the Four Departure Piers on Kelapa Island, Harapan Island, Panggang Island and Pramuka Island to carry out security and supervision of Health Protocols,” he explained.
He added, tourists who after vacation and will return to Mainland Jakarta are urged by his party to continue to apply health protocols and before boarding the ship are required to scan the check out barcode of the care to protect application.
“Yes, scan the barcode check out care to protect to find out how many have left the island and how many are still on the island so we can monitor the number as an anticipatory measure to prevent Covid-19,” he added.
Asep further explained that there are three islands in the North Thousand Islands that are destinations and serve as vacation spots for tourists, including Harapan Island and Pramuka Island so that the security and supervision of health protocols is more focused on these two islands.
“We want tourists who come to the island to vacation in good health and when they return, they must also be in good health, for that we don’t get tired of reminding them to always apply health protocols wherever they are,” said Asep Romli.
