As a result, the Banten Police and the Tangerang Police continue to conduct mobile patrols to maintain the security of the village head election. Vaccination booths have been set up in all polling stations to avoid the establishment of new Covid-19 clusters.

Furthermore, the Banten Police Main Officer is directly involved as Pamatwil in reviewing the TPS for the village head election implementation. “Random swabs will be taken on the committee, candidates, and supporters after the implementation on Days 3, 5, and 7, to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 cluster,” he explained.

The Banten Regional Police deployed 2,080 officers to protect the village head elections, which were held in 951 polling sites under Tangerang Police jurisdiction.
