Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan explained that so far the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Jabodetabek clusters are still at level 3.
This refers to the results of vaccinations in several Jabodetabek districts. Therefore, the regions are still implementing PPKM Level 3 from October 5 to October 18, 2021.
“The concentration of Jabodetabek has not decreased because Bogor, Bandung, Tangerang and Bekasi still lack level 3 vaccinations,” Luhut said during a press conference, Monday (4/10).
Even though it has reached level 3, the government continues to encourage regions to accelerate vaccination. Target 2 million vaccines in two weeks.
He explained: “We formed a working group for this. We will be injecting 2 million vaccines in the next two weeks, they must meet the elderly vaccination coverage rate requirement which is implemented by September 13, 2021.”
“It can significantly increase the vaccination rate for the elderly in Java-Bali. Currently, the first dose of vaccination rates in Java-Bali has reached 37% on September 30, 2021, an increase of almost 5% compared to September 13. 2021,” he concluded.
