In the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic, the North Maluku Regional Police took advantage of the implementation of Operation Obedience Kieraha 2021 to create security, orderly traffic, and vaccination distribution.
Inspector General Pol. Risyapudin Nursin, the North Maluku Police Chief, said in Ternate that the goal of the activity was to offer education and socialization to the entire community about the regulations of the traffic legislation that must be followed in order for Kamseltibcar to run smoothly.
With this operation, it is hoped that the public will understand the existing regulations so that accidents can be avoided, “said Police Chief.
In light of the COVD-19 pandemic, the Regional Police Chief emphasized that, in addition to providing traffic education and socialization, the public was also invited to help make the Acceleration of Vaccination in North Maluku a success by obtaining vaccinations as soon as possible at the nearest service outlets.
“Because, according to reports, vaccine coverage in North Maluku is only 21.8 percent, or 207,695 people, so let’s speed up vaccination so that we may carry out vaccinations in droves to prevent the hazards of COVID-19,” he explained.
Previously, the Kapolda led an assembly of troop titles to mark the start of Operation Obedience Kieraha in 2021, which aimed to create traffic and security circumstances in the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The forces were sent as part of Operation Mandiri Patuh Kieraha 2021, which will run for 14 days from September 20, 2021 to October 3, 2021, and will be accompanied by TNI-Polri personnel, the transportation service, and the Satpol PP.
