The Commander-in-Chief of the National Police Review the Akabri 98 Vaccination Invasion, Throw a Synergy Message

Jakarta – TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the vaccination and social service campaign held by the 1998 Alumni Alumni Association or Nawahasta. Sigit appreciated the synergy between the TNI and Polri in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

This vaccination and social service attack was held at WOW Sport Club Citra Raya, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Tuesday (21/9/2021). Sigit emphasized that this vaccination attack is a form of synergy and solidity between the TNI and Polri in suppressing and controlling the growth rate of COVID-19.

“This is a form of synergy and solidity between the TNI and Polri, especially efforts to implement strategies to suppress the growth rate of COVID-19,” said Sigit after conducting a review.

According to the former Kabareskrim, the vaccination campaign and social services as well as the implementation of the TNI-Polri helped the government’s efforts to suppress the growth rate of the Corona virus.

Sigit said that currently all regions in Indonesia have experienced a decline in the level of PPKM. This was all possible thanks to the hard work of the government and all elements of society who helped.

Sigit said, the daily number of Corona virus cases is now much lower than last July, where the positive number for COVID-19 reached 56,000 and the BOR in hospitals was 90 percent. Therefore, Sigit appreciates all parties who have fought together to control COVID-19 in Indonesia.

“So now thanks to the hard work of all stakeholders of the TNI, Polri, health workers, and local governments and the community, we can congratulate and be grateful that the national BOR has fallen by 11 percent and the daily case rate is around 1,900- an,” said the former Banten Police Chief.

Even so, Sigit asked all stakeholders not to be lulled by the current decline in the number of the Corona virus. According to him, all must continue to implement and enforce the COVID-19 control strategy, namely the discipline of health protocols, strengthening tracing, testing, and treatment as well as accelerating vaccination.

“This must maintain the strategy of how we carry out 3T, the main process is wearing masks, and most importantly we realize immunity by accelerating vaccination. What we certainly hope is that with these three strategies, the rate of COVID-19 can be controlled and economic growth will grow,” said Sigit.

Sigit added, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia’s economic growth rate has increased. Therefore, he hopes that community activities by implementing health protocols must continue to be closely monitored.

“Anything can happen if we all remain vigilant, don’t be euphoric with the numbers dropping. We continue to maintain the health procedures and of course the people who have not been vaccinated must come immediately to the locations prepared to carry out the vaccine. That way, community activities and activities can be carried out properly but the rate of COVID-19 can be controlled. Our shared hope is to shift from a pandemic to an endemic,” said Sigit.

The vaccination campaign and social service activities organized by the 1998 Alumni Alumni Association or Nawahasta were carried out simultaneously in 34 provinces, from September 14 to September 21 2021.
