Solo Polresta Becomes Pilot Project for Digitizing Ranmor Archives

SOLO — Planning for the digitalization of motor vehicle registration will be implemented. The Surakarta Police Traffic Unit will be one of the pilot project points in the implementation of the digitization.

Digitization is planned to begin the first week of October. Thus, service to the community is much easier. Later, when mutating or changing the name of the vehicle, you no longer need to carry files, just use a barcode.

Head of the BPKB Korlantas Polri Sub-Directorate, Kombes Pol Indra Darmawan at Mapolres II Solo explained, in addition to new vehicle registration, the digitization of registration of vehicle numbers also includes mutation and blocking.

“Of course, we hope that everything can be done digitally so that it can facilitate services to the community. So that the service remains excellent and can be accounted for,” said Indra after the socialization of the ranmor digitization, Saturday 18 September 2021

He said the service would be faster with digital archives of motorized vehicles, especially in the field of motor vehicle registration, as well as other services related to motorized vehicles.

“In addition to the Solo Polresta Satlantas, similar projects are also being implemented at the DIY Traffic Police and Cimahi Police,” he said.

Solo Police Chief Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak through Kasatlantas Kompol Adhytiawarman Gautama Putra added that digitizing the registration of military vehicles would make it easier for people who would take care of both STNK and BPKB letters.

“So far, people have to carry piles of files, now people will just have to bring their cellphones and applications and then scan the barcode. In the first week of October, the application will be running and will continue to be reproduced,” said Adhyta.
