The National Police Chief wishes to achieve the target of 2 million doses each day of vaccination.

Bekasi – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo wants the acceleration of mass vaccination of 2 million per day. For this reason, the National Police Chief invites the Alumni of the Police Academy (Akpol) to support the Government’s efforts in the mass vaccination program so that group immunity can be achieved.

“We have just vaccinated, from the ’95 Police Academy in collaboration with the regional police to accelerate mass vaccination so that we can reach the target of 2 million per day,” said Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the Bina Sarana Informatika (BSI) Campus, Bekasi City, Friday (3/9/2021).

According to him, the 1995/Patriatama Akpol alumni participated in supporting and caring by carrying out mass Covid-19 vaccinations and distributing food items which were carried out simultaneously in other areas in 1-2 days, in collaboration with 15 Polda. “There have been 401,000 vaccinations and it is targeted that they can be completed in 1-2 days,” he said.

The National Police Chief reviewed the vaccination implementation at the BSI Campus, Bekasi City, targeting 1,000 local residents.

The National Police Chief said that there is currently a decline in daily cases in Indonesia. The current daily cases are around 8,900 people, which previously had reached 56,000.

“We thank our fellow volunteers who have helped in handling Covid-19,” he concluded.
