Merchants receive social assistance from the Lahat Police Department

The Lahat Police on Friday 27 August 2021, at 10.30 WIB, again distributed social assistance to street vendors, cart drivers, and rickshaw drivers affected by COVID-19.

Social assistance in the form of basic necessities is distributed to small traders around the Kota Negara village, Lahat sub-district, and along the Bandar Agung Lahat village highway.

“We hope that this basic food assistance can be useful and can help traders a little, at least to help ease the burden on the community a little during this pandemic,” said Lahat Police Chief AKBP Achmad Gusti Hartono, SIK through Lahat Police Deputy Commissioner Josy Andrianto SSt.MM.

On this occasion, the Deputy Chief of Police invites and urges traders and local residents to continue to comply with health protocols in order to break the chain of spread of COVID-19, even though currently Kab. Lahat has dropped from 3 to 2, which means it is already in the yellow zone, but we must continue to carry out vigilance to maintain 5 M.

This social assistance activity will continue to be carried out by the Lahat Police in order to help ease the burden on the community due to the impact of COVID-19, especially for small traders and hawkers.

In every implementation of social assistance, the Lahat Police are always divided into 2 teams consisting of Team 1 led directly by the Lahat Police Head who is accompanied by the PJU, while Team 2 is led directly by the Deputy Chief of the Police who is accompanied by the Lahat Police PJU.
