For communities affected by Covid-19, the South Sulawesi Regional Police received 100 tons of rice

South Sulawesi Regional Police received 100 tons of rice from Indonesian Concerned Entrepreneurs who are members of the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, which will later be distributed to communities affected by Covid-19 on Thursday (26/8/2021).

“So, we will hand over the assistance in the form of rice to the South Sulawesi Regional Police. Later, the South Sulawesi Regional Police will distribute it to the community, “explained Swandi, representative of the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.

Meanwhile, the South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pol. Drs. H. Merdisyam M.Sc., said that this donation is not the first time. What the Indonesian Caring Entrepreneurs who are members of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation have done, is several times handed over assistance.

The South Sulawesi Police Chief explained that the assistance would later be handed over to people affected by Covid-19 and right on target. This donation will be done door to door.

“We will hand over this aid directly to the community. Especially for people who have been affected by Covid-19. Moreover, it is still PPKM level IV, “explained the South Sulawesi Police Chief, accompanied by Karo Ops of the South Sulawesi Police.

The South Sulawesi Police Chief explained that the humanitarian assistance carried out by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation should be appreciated. Especially when it comes to humanitarian issues, anyone who is moved by his heart must be appreciated.

“If we look at humanitarian issues, anyone who is moved will help, without having to look at ethnicity, race, religion, and class,” explained the South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Pol. Drs. H. Merdisham M.Si.
