Irwasum Polri Monitors Vaccinations at UIN Maliki Equipped with Psychologists to Accompany Needle Phobia Participants

Irwasum Polri Komjen Pol Agung Budi Maryoto monitored the implementation of vaccines at UIN Maliki and visited the BPSDM Malang City.

During the visit on Thursday (19/8/2021), Irwasum and his entourage were accompanied by Malang City Police Chief AKBP Budi Hermanto.

Malang Raya Police Chief, Danrem 083 Bhaladika Djaya, Malang Raya Police Chief, and Malang City Dandim, the Deputy Mayor of Malang, were also present.

Irwasum’s visit to Malang started by visiting the Malang City Police Station with a team, which then headed to the Malang City BPSDM Isoter Place Jl. Kawi.

The Malang City Police Chief said that the BPSDM isoter place was equipped with TV, Wifi, and educational video facilities.

Irwasum said the isoter place aims to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by separating patients and families, because in isoman places, sometimes people do not follow the rules of health protocols, by not keeping a distance.

Agung Budi Maryoto also made a video call with several residents of the BPSDM isoter.

The former Head of Traffic Police of the National Police at the same time asked about the health of isoter patients and their services.

“Get well soon… and recover soon so we can gather with the family again,” said Agung Budi Maryoto, ending his video call with the residents of the BPSDM isoter.

It took about 30 minutes for the Irwasum Polri group to leave the BPSDM Isoter for the vaccine implementation site at the UIN Maliki Malang campus.

“Vaccination at the Malang City UIN Maliki Campus is a collaboration between Malang City Police and Maliki UIN to accelerate vaccination in Malang City,” said Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Budi Hermanto.

The Malang City Police Chief also said that the implementation of vaccines at UIN was well organized, starting from the screening registration and the health workers.

There are even doctors in the field of psychology who take a psychological approach to participants, both those with high blood pressure and those with phobias of needles.

The Chancellor of UIN Maliki Malang welcomed the arrival of Irwasum Polri and his entourage at the UIN Campus, which was then continued by monitoring the implementation of the vaccine.

Ending his visit, Irwasum Komjen Pol. Agung Budi Maryoto said that it was the task of the National Police Chief to support the ranks, especially the East Java Regional Police, in the implementation of vaccination and isoter.

Prior to Malang, he and his entourage had already visited Bangkalan, Sampang, and Surabaya.
