POLRI Teams Up with Jasa Raharja to Hold Vaccination and Social Assistance Events in Papua

The National Police, together with PT Jasa Raharja-Member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), conducted vaccinations and provided social assistance to drivers and the general public at the Entrop Terminal, Jayapura, on Thursday (12/8/2021).

This activity was carried out to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and accelerate the formation of herd immunity. Vaccinations were given to 300 drivers and also the distribution of social assistance from PT Jasa Raharja in the form of 100 food packages.

Present at this vaccination program activity were the Head of Traffic Police of the Indonesian National Police Inspector General Pol Drs. Istiono, M.H., President Director of PT Jasa Raharja Rivan A Purwantono, Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Pol Drs. Kushariyanto, M.M, and Dirops of PT Jasa Raharja PT Jasa Raharja Haryo Pamungkas, Deputy Chief of Papua Police Brigadier General Dr. Eko Rudi Sudarto, S.Ik, M.Si, Dirlantas Polda Papua Kombes Pol. Mohamad, Head of PT Jasa Raharja Papua Branch, Tamrin Silalahi, Pol.

In his remarks, Jasa Raharja’s President Director, Rivan Achmad Purwantono, said Jasa Raharja’s participation in encouraging vaccination activities in Papua is Jasa Raharja’s contribution to supporting the national vaccination program. Several parties were involved besides Jasa Raharja in the vaccination program, including the TNI, Polri, Biddokkes Polri, Dirlantas, and student organizations.

“I appreciate the enthusiasm of the Jayapura people who have participated in the vaccination program. I also hope that after vaccination, people can remain disciplined in implementing health protocols such as wearing masks, keeping a distance and avoiding crowds, “said Rivan Achmad when reviewing the Vaccine Outlet Vaccination Program at Entrop Terminal, Jayapura.

Jasa Raharja has so far held the Merdeka Vaccination program-JRku in several cities, including Malang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Serang, Surakarta, Bengkulu, DKI Jakarta (Jasa Raharja and Kramat Jati headquarters), and Depok, Java. Vaccination activities for the community will continue to be intensified in various parts of Indonesia.

“This vaccination is very important because it is one of the efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19. This vaccination is also expected to raise public awareness about the importance of vaccines and make it easier for people to vaccinate not far from where they live, “he explained.

On the same occasion, Jasa Raharja also distributed 100 food packages which were symbolically handed over by the President Director of Jasa Raharja to representatives from the community. This social assistance package is a form of Jasa Raharja’s concern for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
