Bekasi City Metro Police Involve Students in Independence Vaccination Events

Bekasi – To welcome the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Bekasi City Police will hold vaccinations simultaneously.

Vaccination will involve students from various universities in Bekasi City, especially in the health sector to become volunteer vaccinators.
It is known, the vaccination plan will be held from August 1 to August 17 next.

Several universities such as Assafi’iyah University Campus Pondok Gede Bekasi City, Poltekkes Ministry of Health Jakarta III, STIKES Banisaleh and STIKES Medistra will be involved.

This was conveyed by Deputy Kapolres Metro Bekasi City AKBP Alfian Nurrizal during a coordination meeting related to vaccination activities simultaneously by involving students as volunteers.

“Our intention and purpose here is to invite fellow students to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Bekasi City Police will carry out the Free Vaccination Simultaneously. The implementation of these activities will be carried out on August 1 to 17, 2021 in 56 urban villages in the Bekasi City Region,” said Deputy Chief of the Bekasi Metro Police AKBP Alfian Nurrizal in a written statement, Wednesday (28/07/21).

He also explained that the students would later be involved in the implementation of vaccination by covering data entry, observation and vaccinators.

Several universities welcomed the intentions of the Bekasi City Metro Police and immediately prepared the names of volunteers.

However, approval from the student’s parents is still needed to become a volunteer health worker.

It is known, the ranks of the Bekasi City Metro Police simultaneously carry out vaccinations at 9 police stations.

The TNI-Polri vaccinations are also routinely carried out in a number of areas.
