Jakarta, IDN Times – The National Police has succeeded in uncovering cases of counterfeiting oxygen cylinders using light fire extinguishers (APAR). The fake oxygen cylinders have even been sold to the public.
Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Brigadier General Helmy Santika explained that there were six suspects named in the case of counterfeiting the oxygen cylinder.
“So far they have sold 190 pieces,” Helmy said in a virtual press statement, Wednesday (28/7/2021).
1. Sold at a price of IDR 2-3 million
He said the fake oxygen cylinders from APAR were sold by the suspects at various prices, ranging from Rp. 2 million to Rp. 3 million. The suspects confessed to the police that they spent Rp700,000 to Rp900,000 in capital.
The police are still trying to find out where the suspect sold the fake oxygen cylinders.
We will also find out where he sells it, because it is dangerous,” said Helmy.
