JAKARTA – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) is currently exploring information related to the Covid-19 cremation cartel in the midst of the pandemic, as stated by the famous lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea, and asks for public participation to report.
The head of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit, Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto, when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday, said the information from Hotman Paris was of concern to the police for further action.
“We are investigating it,” said Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto, Thursday (22/7/2021).
According to Komjen Agus, in this investigation effort, public participation is needed to provide information to the police regarding the existence of a cremation cartel.
“If there are victims who help (report) please,” said Komjen Agus.
Komjen Agus also invited the public to join hands in eradicating the practice of making profit in the midst of the current difficult situation.
“Please (report), let’s join hands to help ease the burden on the community with traitorous behavior seeking profit in the midst of the current pandemic,” he said.
The public was previously shocked by the information conveyed by well-known lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea who opened his voice about the alleged practice of the COVID-19 corpse cremation cartel, Tuesday (20/7).
