Metro Jaya Police Chief Distributes 10 Thousand Rendang Packages for Residents and Patients in Self-Isolation

Polda Metro Jaya provides 8 tons of qurban beef and cooperates with 10 Padang restaurant owners spread across Jakarta. Based on calculations, there will be a total of 10,000 rendang packages which will later be given to underprivileged residents and Covid-19 patients who are undergoing independent isolation (isoman) at home.

“It will be wrapped in 800 grams per package, maybe around 10 thousand packages. We will distribute this, “said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Mohammad Fadil Imran. Tuesday (20/07/21).

Inspector General of Police. As Mohammad Fadil Imran explained, the Bhayangkara Unit for Community Security and Order (Bhabinkamtibmas) will be tasked with being the distributor of the 10,000 rendang packages and they will be distributed to the public at 15.00 WIB later.

“Bhabinkamtibmas has data in every kelurahan where those who carry out isoman and the poor are. We will provide this, “explained the Metro Jaya Police Chief.

The distribution of the rendang packages will be done door to door or door to door in order to avoid crowds.

The distribution will also be accompanied by the delivery of social assistance (bansos) from the government, in which each family head gets 5 kilograms of rice and basic necessities.
