In an effort to provide faster services to the community, the East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Herry Rudolf Nahak checked the Call Center 110 of the Samarinda Police, Tuesday (13/7) morning.
On that occasion, the East Kalimantan Police Chief was accompanied by Irwasda East Kalimantan Regional Police Kombes Pol. Jefri Yanus Endolemba Torunde, Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Ade Yaya Suryana, and Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Pol. Arif Budiman, as well as the main official (PJU) of the Samarinda Police, examined several special tools including the Call Center 110 device, CCTV cameras, as well as communication tools in the form of telephones and Handy Talky (HT).
The purpose of checking is to find out firsthand the condition of special equipment supporting tasks and the readiness of operators to receive public complaints.
The Kapolda ordered the personnel who carry out the Call Center 110 service picket to actually serve the public complaints that come in through the Call Center 110.
The presence of the Call Center 110 Polri service is expected to meet the needs of the community for the implementation of public security services.
In the implementation of call center services, an application system has been prepared that can allow recording or recording of every Polri interaction with the community.
“For this reason, residents of the city of Samarinda, if there is an incident of public disturbance, they can contact directly through the Call Center 110, as a form of Polri’s innovation in facilitating service to the community,” explained Kapolda.
In addition, Kapolda also advised the picket operators to maintain the health and cleanliness of the Call Center room.
“A clean room will provide comfort in working,” concluded the Kapolda.
