PR DEPOK – The existence of the Poso East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terrorist group that was included in the People Wanted List (DPO) after killing 4 farmers has been found and is being pursued by the Police .

The Poso MIT terrorists led by Ali Kalora are suspected of having recently carried out a murder in Kalimango Village, East Lore District, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi.

Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police’s Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Pol Rusdi Hartono, said the location of the MIT Poso terrorists was known.

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) said that the Poso East Indonesia Mujahidin Mujahidin (MIT) wanted list group (DPO) was known to the Mandago Raya Task Force, currently the chase is continuing.

Therefore, against the MIT Poso terrorists, the Police are still pursuing them.

In this effort, the Madago Raya Task Force Team formed three teams in pursuit of the nine remaining MIT DPOs.

“The implementation of law enforcement against the MIT DPO group is still ongoing, the Mandago Raya Operations Task Force is still running after 9 MIT DPOs,” said Rusdi.

Furthermore, Rusdi explained the location of the MIT Poso terrorist group hiding.

According to him, MIT Poso terrorists were detected hiding in mountainous and hilly locations, so that the area was indeed difficult to access by ordinary people.

This is because the geographic location of the Poso region is not the same as other cities.

In Poso, many areas challenge the Police in pursuing the MIT group.

The reason is, in the area where the MIT terrorist group is hiding, there are mountains above which have low oxygen levels so that not everyone can reach them.

Not to mention, the MIT DPO group is actively moving from one location to another.

Therefore, according to Rusdi, a body condition is needed, a body that must be adjusted to the conditions in Poso.

“So it requires large resources, meaning personnel, requires large physical resources, personnel, logistics, equipment requires something big,” he said.

On a different occasion, a member of the DPR RI from the electoral district of Central Sulawesi, Matindas J Rumambi, asked the central and regional governments to completely crush the Poso MIT terrorist members who are strongly suspected of having committed another heinous act.

“There have been many tears from family members, both from the TNI / Polri and civilians whose families were killed by terrorists led by Ali Kalora,” he said in Palu City, Tuesday night.
